Domain Theft - To be on the alert! (Part 1)

As always, Arrie my hubby brought me tones of magazine and books coming back from his travel to UK.
There was on interesting title when I read Making Money Magazine, it’s about Domain Theft written By Paul Rigby on Making Money, January 2007, to be on your alert I think, for the one who did much in online biz

Here I try to re-explain what I understand about the domain theft means was, how this can happen and how to avoid it?

As we know that many individual and businesses have a website but few understand their rights to the ownerships of that site or their responsibility to maintain that ownership. Some companies have cried out ‘foul!’ that their website have been stolen directly after they logged on the internet to look at their website and something completely different appeared.

When you create a website there are three costs involved:

1. You spent some money to purchase the domain or URL.


2. You purchase a hosting package. This is the money you pay to rent the space in one of thousand web servers


3. You pay to have your website created and maintained by a website designer of you choosing. Or you can ignore this cost coz many people did it by them self.

Whether you or someone else purchases the domain name of you website, make certain that you have the contact details from the company it was purchased from and the corresponding username and password to access control over the domain’s use.

Most importantly, make sure you are listed as the registered owner of the website and that the privilege has not been handed over to the person or company that is creating you website for you. Your web administrator can be listed as the technical contact or administrative contact but you need to be listed as registered owner.

This was, if any changes are made to the status or the domain, you are informed as well and you should be notified when the domain name is about to expire.
This is how many businesses website are stolen, the owner is not listed, you didn’t know that you rent period has been expired, it is concerned as a victim of ignorance. (to be continued )

Book Addict to Book Sales(woman)

I think, reading is everybody's hobby. I remembered my dad, took me to one biggest bookstore named El - Mundu in Cirebon on his pay day.

I can buy everybook that I want with one promise, I 'll re-tell the story or the book to my dad, and not comic!

Oh dad, How I missed that moment! Luv you dad!

Whats a pity, never have a good library till I studied at university here in Indonesia, dont know why just never have what I need, even never touched and saw the book ads in Amazon come to my univ. library.

Thanks GOD! for sending me to Germany and Sweden, it is really a book addict palace! Talk to your professor then It'll come. A very comfortable library, where I can spent hours there. Married with Arrie, one of the hardest book addict I 've ever met! Maybe, that's why the soulmate means to be:)

My friend just already called me, offered her books, but finally she offered me to be one of her sales(woman), it is not a joke, most the books that were offered now have been arranged nicely in my book cupboard. Good offer I think, when I can get much more discount and I can share whats wonderful books inside.

Some people said that buy a book is not spent your money for useless but for an investment, sounds good! My son Arsya is growing up as book addict and Kamila is either.

Mmh...seems that its time to change from Book Addict to Book Sales(woman) .

Internet Marketing

After all this long, I tried to find out how to create an online biz, become a Working at Home Mom is one of my big ambition.
Alhamdulillah, last weekend I attend a very useful seminar, about on line Biz.

Herewith is what I got from Internet Marketing Seminar, presented by BundaInBiz, my Biz community colaborated with PT. Asian Brain, Internet Marketing Centre base in Bandung.

1. Create your idea
   The more specific you can create the more effective and give you high competitive biz.


2. Make a Reasearh
   - Determine who is your captive market, again the more specific is better, for instant: your captive market is Indonesian, make it more specific, Indonesia woman, more specific, the Indonesian Woman over 18 years, the more specific, the Indonesian Woman over 18 years who is very familiar with Internet.
   - Be aware with you competitor, you can do by visiting their website

3. Collect the content
   The content could be: Articles, photo, video and audio


4. Join to Affiliate Program, of course it should be match with you biz product


5. Buy the domain, remember you domain name must be presented you biz


6. Buy hosting then throw it to online systems


7. Promotion

I just already realize that I am still in the beginning of a very long journey, get hurry to reach the star! I am thinking hard to start my on line biz :)

Google SketchUp - Model your world

Spent my weekend by googling the google it self. Whats stupid I am! When realized that I didnt realize about the new baby born of Google Family. Goodle Sketch Up, for now it has been at its sixth realese, it is still in Beta stage but what I found is, a free 3D CAS lisenced software. As Google Eart Addict, it is a pleasant surprise, as I know as a free software, Google Earth combine with Google sketch up are an exceptional tools to model the world form anywhere you work. Doesnt need any expensive licensed software ( just dont talk about the software piracy in Indonesia! )

I still remember when I spent much more hours sat down at my 3D lab, doing skecthing with a very precise and accurate measurement, combining a colour and thinking about the picture speed, and when I have to stay for a night at my 3D lab just to convince than I was successfully rendered my skecth and uploaded to flash player. It was my first 3D film I've ever done, a little house near the beach with 2 lovely VW Car.

Now, I try to find out what was the Google Sketch Up:

One that I am trying now is Once you've built your models, you can place them in Google Earth, post them to the 3D Warehouse.
